The kids are returning to school, and summer for many of us is coming to an end. However, the fun does not have to end just yet.  Hold on to that summer mood a little bit longer and celebrate National Health Center Week with us!

What is National Health Center Week?

National Health Center Week is an annual celebration with the goal of raising awareness about the mission and accomplishments of America’s health centers over the past five decades. Let’s come together this week to celebrate the roles Health Centers play in the community -“Community Health Centers: The Chemistry for Strong Communities”.

Patient Appreciation Farmer’s Market

Join us at our Farmer’s Market on August 10th, 2022, as part of our Patient Appreciation Day celebration. In partnership with the Food Bank of North Alabama, we will be hosting a walk-thru giveaway of produce and fruits at our New Market Clinic. All CNAHSI patients are welcome to join.  Apart from the food, free at-home-COVID-19 rapid tests will be distributed.

Community Fun & Wellness Festival

The week ends with a bang! Together with Thrive Alabama and HAPPI Health, we are bringing the Community Fun & Wellness Festival to Huntsville for a second time. The festival, at the Dr. Richard Shower’s Recreation Center,  will have bounce house inflatables, a splash pad, free snow cones for the first 100, a petting zoo, health screenings, information about community resources, giveaways, and more! Come prepared – bring a change of clothes if you plan on getting wet at the Richard Shower’s Splash Pad. In addition to health screenings, COVID-19 vaccines will also be administered on-site.
