Dr. Kimberly Cox, gynecologist, completed residencies in Obstetrics and Gynecology and Family Medicine at Riverside Regional Medical Center in Newport News, Virginia. Holding a magna cum laude B.S. in Biology from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and a medical degree from the University of Alabama School of Medicine, Dr. Cox brings a wealth of knowledge to her practice.
Dr. Cox’s professional journey spans over 25 years, providing comprehensive care in various settings. Notably, she is double boarded in Family Medicine and Obstetrics/Gynecology, a unique aspect that enriches her ability to address the unique needs of her patients. Dr. Cox’s practice philosophy revolves around fostering personal connections with her patients and prioritizing holistic care. She holds fellowships from the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and the American Academy of Family Medicine.
Outside of work, Dr. Cox enjoys reading, gardening, home improvement projects, and most importantly spending time with her family.
Dr. Cox remains dedicated to improving lives through the provision of women’s health services and is currently welcoming new patients. She provides gynecological services at Huntsville Family Health Center.
