Dr. Cornelius, MD, serves as the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) at Central North Alabama Health Services, Inc. (CNAHSI) Before assuming this role, she held various positions, including Medical Director, at renowned institutions like Evicore Health Care, Randallstown Site of Chase Brexton, and Discovery Medical Center. Dr. Cornelius completed her medical education at Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine in 2006. Subsequently, she pursued a Family Medicine residency at the University of Pennsylvania Health System.
Demonstrating a compassionate nature, Dr. Cornelius actively engages in mission trips, extending crucial healthcare to underserved communities. Her profound commitment to empathetic care and strong sense of community set her apart. Apart from her professional commitments, Dr. Cornelius is a devoted mother and spouse. She places value on physical activity, regularly practicing Yoga, and is currently honing her skills in playing musical instruments. Additionally, she finds joy in baking, reading, and juicing.
