Alabama native Dr. Karen Sims joined Central North Alabama Health Services, Inc. (CNAHSI) Health Care System in 2008 as a staff Pharmacist. She has been a registered pharmacist for 20 years practicing in the Huntsville area. Dr. Sims received her Bachelor of Science degree in Cardiorespiratory Sciences (Respiratory Therapy) from the University of South Alabama in Mobile. She earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree at Samford University- McWhorter School of Pharmacy.
Dr. Sims is very passionate about her job of helping patients understand their current health condition and answers any questions they might have about their medications. She also enjoys getting to know her patients on an individualized basis.
Dr. Sims enjoys spending time with her family, her 3 Boston Terriers, traveling ……. and coffee!
