Connecting People Experiencing Homelessness to Care
National Health Center Week 2026
In collaboration with First Stop
As part of National Health Center Week, Central North Alabama Health Services, Inc. (CNAHSI) is partnering with First Stop to present Connecting People Experiencing Homelessness to Care.
This community outreach initiative helps individuals experiencing homelessness in Huntsville access compassionate primary healthcare, health information and supportive community services. For many people, healthcare begins by meeting them where they are. During the event, CNAHSI healthcare providers will:
- Provide primary care office visits and screenings
- Answer health questions
- Help participants establish or reconnect with ongoing healthcare services
- Connect participants with additional healthcare and community resources
Lunch and hygiene care kits will also be provided while supplies last.
